In 2003, Chris Cutler ran a year long daily radio programme for RESONANCE FM called OUT OF THE BLUE RADIO. It was broadcast between 23.30-00.00 Greenwich Meantime and also via www.resonancefm.com. Each programme consisted of an unedited real-time recording of that same half hour - as heard through somebody’s ears somewhere in the world: a daily hole in space and time. All time zones will be covered and as many geographical locations as possible. The ears belonged to a lot of people doing a lot of different things.

Private Views aired on Out of the Blue on February 9th 2003

It consisted of dual recordings of the opening of Respirer at the Hospital Festival, Brighton, UK. recording simultaneously with binaurals and a Meditron stethoscope.
